Terms of use

Effective 3 August 2026. Using this site means accepting the conditions below. They are short because the site is simple: it publishes reference material and links out, and it asks nothing of you in return.

What the content is

Editorial reference material about advertising technology, written for professional media buyers and marketers. The reference on native ads describes how a format works, what it costs to enter, and what two regulators require of it as of the review date shown on the page.

What the content is not

It is not legal advice. The sections covering FTC guidance and Article 26 of the Digital Services Act describe published regulatory positions in general terms; whether any particular campaign, creative or disclosure complies with them is a question for a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction. It is also not financial advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to spend a specific amount with a specific network. Advertising budgets can be lost entirely, and the decision is yours.

Accuracy

Figures are checked against their sources on the dates shown and are published in good faith under the standards in the editorial policy. Prices, platform features and regulatory positions change without notice, and no warranty is given that any figure remains current after its review date. If you find something that has moved, the contact page explains how to report it.

Third-party links

This site links to advertising networks, regulators, standards bodies and research publications. It does not control those destinations and is not responsible for their content, their terms or their handling of your data. Read the privacy policy of any network before you open an account with it. Some outbound links are commercial and are identified on the affiliate disclosure page.

Liability

The site is provided as it stands. To the fullest extent permitted by law, native-ads.net accepts no liability for loss arising from decisions taken on the basis of material published here, including advertising spend that does not perform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Intellectual property

Text and original illustrations on this site are the property of native-ads.net. You may quote a reasonable passage with attribution and a link to the page it came from. That needs no permission and is welcome. Republishing an article in full, or reproducing it in a way that substitutes for reading the original, requires written permission through the contact page. Trade marks and product names belonging to advertising networks and standards bodies are the property of their owners and appear here for identification only.

Changes

These terms may be updated, and the effective date above will change when they are. Data handling is covered separately in the privacy policy. The person responsible for the site is named on the author page.
